MP Canine Academy

5 x 1hr classes

This class is for dogs 6 months and older. Participants will learn how to encourage good behaviours and discourage bad behaviours. We will then use this communication system to teach the 6 critical dog skills.

We will be using using prong collars and teaching owners how to fit and use these collars effectively. We recommend Herm Sprenger prong collars, size SMALL (dogs under 40 pounds) and size MEDUIM for dogs over 40 pounds. Sizes L and XL are not effective in our experience.

5 x 1hr classes

For Puppies 5 months and under. Puppies and handlers will learn the basics of house training, crate training, engagement, marker-reward systems and obedience.

We will be using a regular flat puppy collar, standard 6ft leash and treats for training the puppies.
